An IWB holster is worn inside the pant waist line keeping most of the weapon covered by your pants. We personally recommend IWB for most concealed carry applications because the bulk of the handgun is concealed by clothing and only the butt of the gun needs to be covered. This can be done by simply wearing a loose fitting shirt or layering several shirts to prevent the butt of the gun from printing.
All our IWB holsters can be constructed with either no cant or FBI cant. However, about 90% of our orders are specifying a FBI cant style. And, although we aren't going to break out the protractor to design your holster, we will design the holster to have the optimum angle of cant to create the best opportunity for concealment while maintaining a high level of functionality. We recommend wearing the holster on the strong side in the natural curvature behind your hipbone to maxmize comfort and concealability.
We are not currently offering any type of attachment for IWB holsters other than leather loops with snaps. Kydex is a new fad and the metal clips are easy to use but, we have found that the highest level of safety and reliability can only be acheived with a loop and snap system.
